We had a special visitor in for Family Literacy Day – Cst. Jeanette Hudson. She’s a police officer here in Fredericton and she stopped by for a visit to read a few stories to us. She read 3 books; Where’s the Dragon?, Stella, and What's So Terrible About Swallowing an Appleseed?. The kids were a little shy at first but warmed up quickly and had a lot of questions for her JThis was a great way to meet an officer in our community! She also talked to the kids about how important it is to read and why we should be nice to others. What a great visit; hopefully she’ll come back soon!!
This month's field trip was skating!! What a great time we had at the Willie O'Ree Place on Friday January 18, 2013. All of the kids did a great job on the ice, whether they had skates on or not!
