Remembrance Day is a day to remember the soldiers who work
hard to protect us and keep us safe; in the past, present and in the future. The
kids learned that a poppy is the symbol that we wear over our hearts to help us
remember. We had a special visitor, Ken, who came to talk with the children
about Remembrance Day, poppies and answer any questions the kids had. Thanks Ken for the visit!!
The kids used the superforts to create an amazing house - they did an awesome job working together
Landon loving the new road signs
Trewin creating a building with toothpicks and marshmallows
D.J. exploring the the construction vehicles
Zoey using giant marshmallows to create a snowman
Rori sharing pictures of her with construction vehicles - the kids loved the picture where she was in the front bucket of a loader!!
We had 2 visitors, Gina and Amanda, from the Let's Talk Science program at UNB. They came in to teach us about colours...we all became scientists! We learned the primary colours of red, blue and yellow and how we can make orange, green and purple when they are mixed together; we made colour wheels and made our own rainbows in a bag with coloured syrup.
